Once an excellent athlete and a very good cricketer; I stopped my sports activities due to a sudden sickness. Leaving back athletic spikes on the track & cricket bat on the ground I took camera in my hand. I am a self taught photographer. I worked hard and experimented with films and transparencies, spent many hours in darkroom to excel the art and techniques of photography.

 

To have full concentration with eye behind the camera, one has to have strong sense of visualization, sensitive mind and driving force with innovative spirit. I have attempted to catch glimpses of life from many angles and in many roles as a layman, critic, social activist and ardent admirer of beauty. Out of many facets of life, Nature attracts me the most with its grandeur and panoramic style. Nature has always inspired and prompted me to write picturesque stories.

 

Son of veteran freedom fighter Mr. Anant Patil, I am a social activist with strong belief in science. Scientific knowledge is very important but I feel that scientific temper and scientific approach is more essential in every aspect of life. To love the art and master it is not easy task. I think PHOTOGRAPHY is a continuous search of truth and beauty. Several years of travel in many part of India and some part of the world I have clicked thousands of images on films and transparencies and now for last few years with digital technique. Here are some of the images taken in last two-three decades on different subjects. It is my great pleasure to open my work for everybody.
